1.3.1 X-431 Diagun IV whole set
There are two main components to the X-431 Diagun IV system:
• X-431 Diagun IV Handset -- the central system (for details, please refer to
Chapter 1.3.1.)
• VCI Connector -- the Vehicle Communication Interface for accessing vehicle data

While opening X-431 Diagun IV package for the first time, please carefully check the following components. Common accessories for each X-431 Diagun IV are same, but for different destinations, the accessories of X-431 Diagun IV may vary. Please consult from the local agency or check the package list supplied with X-431 Diagun IV together.
• X-431 Diagun IV handset
• VCI connector (For connecting OBD II vehicles)
• Password envelope (A piece of paper bearing Product S/N and Activation
Code for product registration)
• OBD II extension cable (For connecting the VCI connector to OBD II
vehicle)
• OBD I adaptor (For connecting the non-16pin diagnostic connector and the
VCI connector)
• Power adaptor (For charging the X-431 Diagun IV handset)
• Non-16pin connectors (For connecting non-OBD II vehicle)
